Record Tightrope Walk Up Cable Car Wire

A tightrope walker has made a bid for a new world record by scaling the support cables of a mountain cable car in Germany.

Freddy Nock climbed up to the summit of the Zugspitze - Germany's highest peak - without a balancing pole.
The mountain is 2,962 metres (9,718ft) high.
It was the first of a series of record-breaking tightrope walking feats the Swiss man is attempting over the next week.

After his successful ascent was cheered by onlookers, Mr Nock admitted he was relieved it was over.
He said: "I can not say that I will again attempt such a walk.
"I have it behind me and I do not want to do it again. Not without a balancing pole."
His website said his motto is "making the impossible possible".
Mr Nock is reportedly set to submit his ascent without a balancing pole for entry in the Guinness Book of Records.

Justin & Selena Are Getting Married!

As the world slowly dissolved around them, Justin whispered into her ear two simple words, “I’m ovulating.”
So, I know I might have said something about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez getting married, but I was just trying to milk Internet traffic, all the Internet traffic capture how The Teen Choice Awards demographic (Read: Girls ages 10-11.) would react to these photos of him mauling her in every single photo before moving onto Taylor Swift and Tyra Banksbecause he’s trying to spawn a multi-cultural Maple-baby army to teach the world that real love is holding hands and ice cream, not that icky stuff he did with Selena in Hawaii. All weekend. Because she’s stronger than him.

Candice Swanepoel’s in a Bikini

“How was my day? Oh, the usual. Stood around staring into Victoria’s Secret models asses with a smirk on my face. Same old, same old.”
I make a lot of jokes about stereotypes: Women are terrible drivers, black people love fried chicken, Republicans are all secretly homosexuals, Eskimos covet our gratuitous access to fleece, etc. But the one stereotype I conveniently avoid is how men are huge fucking whiners because, my god, are we babies. And that’s how you trap us. (Write that one down.) So here’s Candice Swanepoel in a bikini to compensate for the man-meat I’ve been tossing the ladies – and gentleman callers – all week. If this was an orgy, I just reached around all of you because that’s how deep I love. That’s how deep.

“That was my biggest dream, and I really worked hard at it. We both did,” Jennifer Lopez tells  in her first interview since announcing that she and Marc Anthony are divorcing. “Sometimes it doesn’t work—and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love,” Lopez says. “It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive—determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”
Lopez opens up to contributing editor Lisa Robinson about her life with Anthony and the example she hopes to set for her children; she talks about her relationship with P. Diddy and breaking off her engagement to Ben Affleck; she’s honest about the diva rumors that surround her, and shares her attitudes toward money, fame, and especially love. “I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love,” Lopez explains, describing the passage that has brought her to her current state of mind. “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself—if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”
“I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer,” Lopez tellsVanity Fair. “We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic—and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

Selena Gomez Sunbathing Topless

\Here’s 19-year-old (Seemed like a good idea to point that out.) Selena Gomez sunbathing in Orlando over the weekend and, okay, fine, looking not pregnant. And while I’m being completely honest, its time all of us stop lying to ourselves about Justin Bieber hitting this and start focusing on harvesting His power. I’m talking literally consuming His body thus becoming one with His magic because, trust me, transubstantiation ain’t cutting it. Which is surprising for a Roman Catholic concept that I’m using to take something from a young boy, but I digress. The important thing is I’ve been covering Communion wafers in maple syrup all morning, and I haven’t touched a single Italian-Mexican hybrid boob yet. Unless they feel like diabetes, in which case, they be all up in my face, making my feet not feel no more.

Angelina Jolie to Scale Back Film Career?

Even Angelina Jolie can't do it all.
Between acting, directing, raising six kids and saving the world, she's got a lot on her plate. As she gets older, the 36-year-old knows something has to give.
What she's likely to give up first is an easy call.

"As Brad and I get older we're going to do fewer films. I've been working a long time, he's been working a long time. We've had a nice run and don't want to be doing this indefinitely, our whole lives. There are a lot of other things to do."
"You're drawn to certain roles because they question something about life, about love, about freedom. You ask these questions as you grow up: am I strong enough, am I sane enough? Do I understand love, do I understand myself?"
Jolie continues, "I'm older and I know who I am ... and I'm less interested in the character helping me answer something ... than in being able to answer it for myself, as a woman, as an adult, with my family."
For Angelina, answers that she once sought to find from her characters can now be found as she travels the world, taking her adopted children to their home countries and doing massive amounts of charity work.
Of course, Jolie has said that same exact thing a number of times previously; she first mentioned it in 2006, and then again in 2008.
Think she'll really pull herself away?
