Leader of the popular music group Marians, Nalin Perera is to be divorced from his wife, reports say.
Nalin, a father of two, who has left his home in Thimbirigaskatuwa, Negombo, is now living in Nugegoda, reports add.
Nalin and his wife have agreed to part ways on mutual consent, sources say.
The ‘Marians’ entered musical arena as members of the band of their alma mater St Mary's College, Chilaw and had the distinction in releasing the first album of MARIANS in 1988, which took the local music scene by storm.
Before Marians, Nalin has also sung in a band called ‘Angel’.
Nalin who received much support from leader of the Sunflowers group, Neil Warnakulasuriya, rose to popularity through his hit number ‘Anjalika’.
Nalin also hosted the popular game show broadcast in Sirasa TV - ‘Kaageda Gee Nada’ for nearly 12 years.
