Did Playboy really call Sherlyn Chopra a ‘Bollywood legend’?

There have been several reports claiming that the sex-sational babe has misrepresented facts to the folks at the hot-selling men’s mag

At first we couldn’t stop rolling on the floor with laughter when we stumbled on an article that claimed our friends in Hollywood (read Playboy) had called Sherlyn Chopra a ‘Bollywood legend’! It reinforced our belief that Americans are clueless about anything and everything outside their motherland. And we figured Miss Chopra was a smarter cookie than we had thought to dish out fake facts to glorify her position in the international market.
But before jumping the gun and making a mockery of the lady who is currently on cloud nine for being the first Indian woman on the cover of Playboy, we looked up the mag’s website for Sherlyn’s brief biography.
No, we didn’t peer at the gallery of hot Playboy girls on the site. We are at work, so have to maintain appropriate conduct. But we found out that the editorial team of the famous glossy has attributed her as a Bollywood ‘sensation’, and not ‘legend’ as reported. And that, we must agree with!
They do slightly goof up on her short and sweet life history though. Sherlyn’s mentioned as someone known for acting in Bollywood. Really? Now that’s what we call pushing the truth beyond reasonable limits. Do you remember any of her Hindi film roles apart from that itsy-bitsy part in itsy-bitsy clothes as the wannabe love-interest of Shahid Kapoor in Dil Bole Hadippa? (By the way, does anyone remember the film at all?) We definitely don’t! As we jog our memories to recall that Sherlyn’s claim to fame has been steamy photographs that desperately scream for attention and her participation in the third season of the reality show Bigg Boss.
Maybe now after making headlines internationally Sherlyn Chopra will get to show off her acting chops. In Bollywood or Hollywood, we don’t know. We wait to find that out.
